This was the 'Women in data' event: recap
Last evening, March 21, we brought together 4 future-forward data companies, all in the theme of #womenindata! Everyone interested in #data, #womenintech or those who just felt like having a fun evening came together to listen to inspiring speakers, connect with nice people and enjoy a lovely snack and drink! In short; a 🔝 edition of our (first😉) Women in data event!

This evening was co-hosted with our 4 fantastic partners, QuaData, Kohera, Sparkle and RedMojo and what a success it was! With over 70 people we came together to explore the wonderful world of data and meet like-minded people.💭 Below is a short recap of the different speakers and inspiring panel discussion!
The first keynote was delivered by Sophie Angenot, Managing Partner of QuaData. In this keynote, she highlighted the key aspects of Agile Data Governance and what the importance of standards for compliance, quality, availability and usability is. She strongly believes that the future of data lies in Agile Data Governance and we felt that passion all the way to the back!
Then Elena Nuñez Castellar, AI lead & translator consultant at Sparkle-Cronos Group, and Karolien Scheerlinck, AI translator at VDAB, added a duo keynote highlighting the pathway in which you can evolve from algorithms to products and thus to customer journeys. An interesting path to walk!
After these interesting keynotes, it was time for the panel discussion. In this session, Jessica Reulens, co-Founder, Head of Data Analysis at Cake, and Hanne Vandael, People Analytics Consultant at Redmojo, shared their experiences about finding their path in data.
Finally, we paired up attendees for a 1:1 networking where ideas, experiences and so much more could be shared and fun connections made!
Thank you🤩 to all the attendees for making this evening such a success!
