AI is changing the game in a lot of fields. One of them is Supply Chain Technology. In this live event we’ll explore together with women in the industry how AI is impacting everything from advanced planning tools to decision-making platforms.

 

This Clusity session, hosted at OMP, brings together leading female voices from academia and industry to explore how AI is disrupting supply chain technology. We’ll zoom in on the trends, applications, and leadership models that are redefining the future of supply chain tech.

This is a free event, open to everyone. While Clusity is dedicated to inspiring and empowering women in tech, we warmly welcome anyone who supports women and inclusion in technology, men included.

Anna Usacheva, Global Supply Chain Project Manager at Barry Callebaut

Keynote: AI Agents in Supply Chain: what they can do and what we must learn

Description: Anna will explore the rise of AI agents in supply chain technology. From what these tools can already achieve today, to the shifting skill set professionals need; moving from Excel mastery to prompt engineering, she’ll show how AI is redefining the role of supply chain experts. Expect practical tips on the art of crafting prompts and a clear look at how AI agents are reshaping the future of supply chain tech.

Bio: Certified Supply Chain Professional with 10+ years of experience in inventory management, planning, and global supply chain transformation. I lead initiatives that cut costs and improve service through smarter planning and reporting tools. Passionate about how LLMs and AI agents can reshape supply chain work, I explore ways to combine human expertise with AI to drive better decisions. Proud mom of six-year-old Léa.

Karlien Vanderheyden, Professor at Vlerick Business School

Keynote: Leading Digital Transformation in Supply Chain

Description: Digital transformation is only possible when you bring people along . True leadership in the era of AI is not just reserved for those at the top , but rather every team member has a role to play. In this keynote, Prof. Karlien Vanderheyden (Vlerick Business School) introduces a leadership model that highlights the skills and mindsets needed to successfully guide digital transformation in supply chain organizations.

Bio: Karlien Vanderheyden is Associate Professor at Vlerick Business School, where she specializes in people management and leadership. Her research focuses on social intelligence, decision-making, and how individual behavior impacts organizational performance. She teaches in Vlerick’s Masters and MBA programmes, as well as in customized executive courses, and co-directs the Centre for People in the Smart Digitised Supply Chain. With a PhD in Psychology from Ghent University and international research experience at the University of Maryland, Karlien also coaches managers to strengthen their leadership skills. She is the author of Essentials in Communication, bridging theory and practice for professionals.
