Recap: Between the Clouds 3rd edition
On a cloudy evening in Antwerp on October 23rd 2025, we hosted the third edition of ‘Between the Clouds’ the focus of this year was on ‘Hosting AI models in the cloud’. With the Support of KBC and ML6, we welcomed over 50 women in tech & supporters to learn about the latest and greatest in AWs, Azure, RAG & Guardrails, and more!

With this event, we explored how AI and cloud technology are shaping the next era of innovation. Together with KBC and ML6, Clusity brought the community together for an evening of deep technical insights, real-world lessons, and inclusive networking, proving that even a storm can’t keep women in tech from gathering “between the clouds.”

Rucha took the audience behind the scenes of deploying AI models in the cloud — from early prototypes to scalable production systems. Her talk offered practical, transparent insights into balancing ambition with reality, and how to make AI adoption both impactful and sustainable.

Building Blocks to Create GenAI Apps on AWS
Ellen walked us through AWS tools like Bedrock, Knowledge Bases, and SageMaker JumpStart, showing how modular components can be used to build GenAI applications quickly and efficiently. Her hands-on approach gave attendees a clear view of the engineering mindset behind real-world AI solutions.
Iris Luden and Sofie De Sutter, Machine Learning Engineer & AI Consultant at ML6
Building Secure RAG Applications – From Infrastructure to Guardrails
Together, Iris and Sofie demystified the security challenges of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems. From data poisoning to prompt injection, they explored the importance of security guardrails and responsible infrastructure in the era of generative AI.
