Recap: Between the Clouds 4th edition

On October 22nd 2026, the clouds gathered over Antwerp once more for the fourth edition of ‘Between the Clouds’. This year’s theme was ‘From Cloud Native to Agent Native’. With the support of ML6 and OMP, we welcomed over 50 women in tech and supporters at Dunden to explore what changes when the workloads themselves start reasoning, acting and remembering.

For years, cloud native was the standard every team worked towards. Now agents are moving into production, and they raise new questions about the infrastructure underneath them. Who gets access to what? Where does memory live? How do you build a platform for something that makes its own decisions? Together with ML6 and OMP, Clusity brought the community together for an evening of technical depth, honest trade-offs and real 1:1 connections.

An evening of insights and inspiration

☁️ Naomi Geelen, AI Engineer at ML6 · Cloud Infrastructure in the Agent-Native Era
Naomi explored the shift from cloud native to agent-native infrastructure, and what changes when software moves from rule-based code to autonomous decisions.

“Almost anyone can build an AI agent today. But most of them run on traditional cloud infrastructure that was never designed for non-deterministic systems. Building the agent-native way is what takes your agents from a side project at home to production.”

☁️ Enora Almeida, Excellence Consultant at OMP · One shift, two seats: OMP as platform provider and as platform customer
Enora shared how OMP is tackling the agentic era, with use cases of the shift from building your own agents to adopting pre-made ones.

“AI adoption is as much about people as it is about technology. At OMP we’re in the middle of a big transformation, and the biggest impact comes from how you onboard people and bring them along.”

☁️ Rojina Kashefi, AI Engineer at ML6 · Agent Identities & Access: Securing the Agentic Era
Rojina looked at how identity, access and least privilege work when the actor is an agent, and where guardrails and human oversight come in.

“AI agents have become very capable. The real question now is trust: how do we make them secure, give them a verifiable identity, and make sure we can actually rely on them once they’re in production?”

The thread running through it all

From building agents on the right infrastructure, to making them secure and trustworthy, to bringing people along in the transformation, one thing became clear: the agentic era asks for new ways of thinking, about the cloud and beyond.

What comes next?

This was already the fourth edition of Between the Clouds, and every year the cloud looks a little different: from multicloud to hosting AI, and now to agents. Each edition reminds us that the future of tech is collaborative and inclusive. Together with partners like ML6 and OMP, we’ll keep bringing technical depth and community spirit together in new editions that inspire and connect.
