Meet Tessa Ickx - Lead Data Scientist, coding teacher, and founder with a mission.

By day, Tessa builds data-driven and generative AI solutions for a wide range of clients as Lead Data Scientist at Cegeka, working with technologies like Azure AI Foundry and Databricks. On weekends, she teaches at CodeFever, introducing teenagers to coding, something she picked up herself at 17, at CoderDojo, and never really let go of since. On top of that, she's the founder of Pixiboo: a self-designed, 3D-printed coding buddy shaped like a little ghost, built to make programming feel more approachable, especially for girls.

Tessa was recently named Rising Tech Star of the Year at the She Goes ICT Awards by Data News, and honestly, no surprise there! She's spent years bridging three worlds, enterprise AI at Cegeka, teaching the next generation at CodeFever, and building her own hardware venture with Pixiboo, and has a lot to say about what that combination teaches her about coding, learning, and where AI fits into all of it.
