From Cloud Native to Agent Native: Between the clouds - 4th Edition

  • Dunden 29 Lange Gasthuisstraat Antwerpen, Vlaanderen, 2000 Belgium (map)

For years, cloud native was the standard every team worked towards. Now the workloads themselves are changing… Join us for a night to discover all about this, and meet fellow women in tech!

Agents that reason, act and remember are moving into production, and they ask new questions of the infrastructure underneath them. Who gets access to what? Where does memory live? And how do you build a platform for something that makes its own decisions?

For the fourth edition of Between the Clouds, we're exploring what it takes to go from cloud native to agent native. Speakers from ML6 and OMP share what they're seeing on the ground, from the infrastructure layer up to identity, access and memory. Expect real-world insight, honest trade-offs and plenty of room for your questions.

On the agenda

  • Agent native infrastructure: what changes when your workloads start making decisions

  • Identities & access: how to give agents the permissions they need, and not one more

  • Google's agentic platform: a look at how Google is building for agents

  • Persistent memory: how agents remember, and what that means for your architecture

  • And more, with the full programme announced soon

More than talks

Between the Clouds is a Clusity event, so the conversations matter as much as the content. Our 1:1 networking connects you with other attendees for a real conversation, not small talk over a drink. You'll meet women from across Belgium's cloud and tech scene, part of a community of 4,000+ members. Finger food and drinks are on us.

The event is created for women in tech and welcomes everyone who wants to help make the industry more inclusive.

Our Speakers:

Enora Almeida:

Enora Almeida is a French engineer and Senior Excellence Consultant at OMP, with an international career spanning industrial logistics, software implementation and supply chain consulting across Europe and Brazil. A passionate polyglot and lifelong learner, she uses her experience to connect people, solve complex problems and help others grow. For over nine years, she has been mentoring young women and encouraging more girls to pursue STEM and engineering. Today, she also runs her own mentoring initiative for young women in tech, with a long-term ambition to give back to the next generation of engineers.

Rojina Kashefi:

Rojina Kashefi is an AI Engineer at ML6, specializing in agentic AI within the emerging technologies space. She builds intelligent applications powered by voice agents and agentic systems, turning the latest AI capabilities into real-world solutions for the financial services and healthcare industries. With a research background in trustworthy and explainable AI, she brings a strong focus on making these systems secure, transparent, and reliable. She also contributes to ML6 for Good, exploring how AI can be applied for positive societal impact.

Talk Title:

Agent Identities & Access: Securing the Agentic Era

Talk Description:

The shift from AI that answers questions to agents that take action creates a new challenge: giving them enough autonomy to be useful without giving them unchecked power. Meeting that challenge starts with rethinking identity, access, and trust for autonomous systems. In this talk, we'll examine how authentication, authorization, delegation, and least privilege apply when the actor is an agent, and how guardrailing defines the boundaries around what agents can access, what they can do, and when human oversight is required. These principles lay the groundwork for agentic systems that operate independently while remaining secure and aligned with organizational intent.

Naomi Geelen:

Naomi Geelen is an AI Engineer at ML6, where she specializes in RAG and agentic systems within the Emerging Domain team. She works on turning the latest Generative AI capabilities into real-world applications, building intelligent architectures that move beyond static pipelines into dynamic reasoning. Combining an academic background in Business and AI, she bridges strategic organizational goals with complex technical execution. She also brings experience working alongside governmental organizations to explore high-impact, practical AI applications in specialized environments.

Talk title:
Cloud Infrastructure in the Agent-Native Era

Talk description:
Traditional cloud-native infrastructure was built for predictable, deterministic microservices. But now that autonomous AI agents are taking the stage, the cloud has to evolve from a
passive pipeline into an active participant. In the agent-native era, systems are built to support continuous reasoning, non-deterministic workflows, and self-directed orchestration. In this keynote, we will explore the shift from cloud-native to agent native cloud infrastructure. We will look at the big picture of what happens when software transitions from executing strict, rule-based code to making dynamic, autonomous decisions. You will see the high-level architectural changes defining this new era, and walk away with a foundational blueprint that sets the stage for the next generation of AI-driven engineering.
